Konditorei Huber : Postgasse 2, 9620 Lichtensteig

In any case, I can recommend Cafi Huber! Known for their Biberli😋 and simply good food. The service is nice and courteous. I haven't stayed here yet, so I don't have a review. But from what I've heard so far, it's supposed to be good. Especially the fresh baked goods the next morning.

Stranded here in Lichtensteig by chance for a few hours, I wanted to have a really nice lunch and luckily all the other restaurants were closed. So I came across this bakery, which also offers lunch. For just over 40 francs, I ate here as if I had to pay the same quality in Zurich, definitely, if anyone couldn't find it straight away, they would have to pay 65 francs. The quality was really outstanding and truly sensational without exception: the mixed salad was served to me with six different salads at exactly the right temperature and the soup before it not only tasted good, but was also really hot on a day with only 15 degrees outside here in Lichtensteig. The main course was made with truly tender meat and I effectively forget that I have ever eaten such good and perfect veal stew anywhere else as the one I had here, and in a very large portion and beautifully served. So if you're ever here in Liechtenstein, you definitely shouldn't be blinded by the big restaurants with the old, typical local signs, but should come straight here and enjoy what I just enjoyed, for comparatively little money. An absolute and unexpected success in the middle of the week - a huge pick-me-up! It would be great if there were restaurants like this again in the canton of Zurich?! The attached bakery and patisserie is also more than just recommended and, to add to my compliments, there was even a free sample - thank you so much for the great service and the sensational food here - hats off to such an effort!

A small hotel with a restaurant and bakery in the middle of the picturesque old town of Lichtensteig. Far away from the turbulent cities, in the middle of the mountains, you have a nice place to relax. The food tasted wonderful and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Thank you for the lovely stay.
