My experience is only about the apartment, not the restaurant, and it was a real nightmare! We booked the apartment for one week , for a very low price . For such a low price, my expectations were quite modest, but I could not imagine what was going to happen. Before our check-in we went grocery shopping, therefore on our arrival we filled the fridge with fresh food. But right after, surprise: we found excrement everywhere. They were dry, probably because the apartment had been prepared several days ahead and then nobody checked it right before our arrival: droppings and urine stains on linen, towels, floor, table... We removed them with our hands because we initially thought they were from geckos, but then, second and bigger surprise: we found a dead mouse in the toilet! It was quite evident that the droppings were from the mouse. We immediately called the owner who came and removed the mouse from the toilet. What would you expect in such a situation? Maybe to hear "I am sorry for this, I will clean the apartment for you", right? Wrong! He just said "there are animals around". He did not care at all. No cleaning, no apologies. We had to ask for clean linen, and for some reason we received only a set of 2 . Later, as there was no doorbell, there was no way to ask for more, the owner was absent. We had to use a vacuum cleaner, available in the storeroom, to remove all the droppings. And, we were so scared that we could not use the toilet . After the first night, early in the morning, we informed the owner that we wanted to leave the apartment. What did the owner do at this point? He tried to charge 238 CHF on our card , without even telling us! But the transaction failed, and after some negotiation I paid 200 CHF cash. In that moment, my priority was to look for another accommodation, and to save the food in the fridge; otherwise, I would have probably called the police. I have travelled many countries in Europe, in the middle East, far East, and even in the most remote countryside in Asia I have found cleaner conditions and most importantly and I have never been treated like this. I did never imagine this happening to me in Switzerland.
Very friendly service. Thanks again!
At first glance looks as a good location - on top of the pass. Unfortunately not. You look over the street to a small portion of the valley below. Nothing really special. If you go for a walk on the hiking trails around that is a different story. Polite staff, fast service but you got the feeling something is missing.
