Ristorante Verdi : Gerechtigkeitsgasse 7, 3011 Bern

This was one of the best Italian meals we have ever had. We have travelled through Italy and eaten in many a Michelin restaurant and we rate this as 5 star. The ambience is beautiful if you are looking for something a bit special in Bern. Highly recommended to come and enjoy the perfect meal. The end photo says it all!

The restaurant offers excellent service and good food. The lady who served us was so nice and gave us recommendations for places to visit around Bern. The Mozzarella Buffalo, Saffron Risotto, and Pasta are highly recommended.

Searched u a restaurant near older part of town to afford an opportunity for a nice lunch and a little sightseeing stopover on the way to Zurich. There were a number of Italian food choices. I used both the food and vive photos to select this one. The interior of the restaurant is a mix of old world (lots of wood) and modern with white walls, large art on the walls and (high ceilings and glass skylights. The food was exceptional — cooked well, attractively served and nicely portioned. The only constructive feedback is that it leaned towards being more salty than we usually prefer.
