We went to the cordon bleu fiesta event and it was our first time at the restaurant. Service was super nice and had a lot of humour, shout out to Doris. Its all you can eat cordon bleu and the names assigned to them were swiss skiers. They ordered the cheese from each of the skiers home town! The individual cordon bleus were very good given the pace they had to be produced. Some of them lacked frying time and also some ingredient amount issues. There were also a lot of salads and fries to be consumed alongside. They also had some swiss traditional live music running in the background. All in all, it was very good experience and we ate too much.

A perfect dinner! The food was excellent – the cordon bleu in particular was an absolute delight, tender and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, so no one had to go home hungry. The atmosphere was also convincing: the decoration was very charming and made you feel comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, always there with a smile. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and offers excellent value for money. The standard of the house is first class - hospitality is very important here. I'll definitely come back and highly recommend it!

My son celebrated his 25th birthday on his own with a special meal at Rössli in Utzigen and it turned out to be a positive experience. He actually walked an hour just to get there, and he said it was absolutely worth it! He loved everything about the visit including the warm and welcoming service, the cozy, inviting ambience, and especially the food. The chicken wings stood out as a highlight: perfectly prepared, full of flavour, and served with care. What made the experience even more special was the setting. The restaurant is nestled in beautiful Swiss countryside, with peaceful surroundings and stunning views of Gurten and Ulmizberg hills - he shares this with us by video call while eating there. The outdoor terrace and garden add to the experience, offering a perfect place to relax and soak in the landscape. Many guests arrive on foot or by bike, and it’s easy to see why as it appears that just getting there is part of the charm .
