Schlittelbahn Preda Bergün : Veja Alvra, 7482 Bergün/Bravuogn

I recently visited this tobogganing route and took my family from the UK, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish! The experience begins with a beautiful scenic train ride up the mountain, setting the tone for an awesome day. From there, a short 1km walk brings you to the starting point. The first run is a fantastic 6km stretch. It’s not too fast, making it great for families and kids, but still exciting enough for adults to enjoy. However, the real highlight of the day was the second run. At the bottom of the first route, a small chairlift takes you up to Darlux, where the real thrill begins. This steeper, more exhilarating 4.5km run had us laughing all the way down while clinging on for dear life! It’s pure fun and definitely not to be missed. If you’re looking for an adventure that combines stunning scenery with an adrenaline rush, this tobogganing experience is a must!

One of the best things to do in Switzerland. We've been down it many times, always great fun. We now where helmets to go with warm clothes and sturdy boots. Rent the sport toboggan to steer better around the sharp corners. Be very careful with bumps in the run, they are positively more dangerous than the corners!

Sledging from Preda to Bergün was a nice experience. Due to fresh snow the slope was very slow though and especially at the beginning, where it is rather flat, the sledge had to be pulled for a while. The other option, Darlux-Bergün, was much faster . The lift-ticket up to Darlux comes with a rather hefty price tag for one ride up the mountain: CHF 14.
