A great hotel in an absolutely stunning location. The views? Top-notch. We stayed here both in winter and summer – and honestly, it's like visiting two completely different worlds. Winter brings postcard-worthy snowy landscapes, and summer offers lush green mountains and a bright blue lake. Both seasons are simply magical in their own way. Hotel Bernina Hospiz has been a safe haven for travelers since the 19th century, back when crossing the Bernina Pass was more about survival than sightseeing. Today, it’s all about the views and the peaceful mountain vibe. Still, you can’t help but feel a little like an old-time traveler stopping by for a hot soup – or maybe a cold beer if you happen to catch the summer sun. 😊

We stayed in a basic room with four beds, toilets and showers in the corridor. Great price for dinner/night/breakfast combo. Food choice and quality is excellent, staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved the atmosphere in this historic building!
