Casa Ristorante Belvedere : Via Valtellina, 7710 Alp Grüm

A truly wonderful place full of wonderful people. Henri has done a great job of assembling a great group of fantastic people. Stayed for two nights and didn't want to leave! It genuinely feels like you are staying with friends rather than in a hotel or guesthouse. Livia and Valerie were so helpful and friendly, as were all the others. Comfortable room and bed, and excellent WiFi as an added bonus. It is a beautiful location but the general atmosphere and welcome makes it even more special. Food was wonderful, Zara the new head chef gave us amazing evening meals. It is a set menu, and about half the items I wouldn't have ordered - but all of them I would eat again, twice! All local produce and prepared with care and love. My only complaint is that every meal I've had since leaving has been terrible by comparison! I see some complaints on other reviews about the price but given the location and quality of ingredients I think they are misguided at best. The restaurant at Alp Grum station is good, but this is much better, similar price-wise and worth the walk up the hill if you are stopping for lunch, which is as delicious as dinner. Will definitely be back soon, so keep the kettle ready! Thanks again to you all.

Incredible views, friendly service, great vibes, and a wonderful host! To top it of: the food was amazing - probably the best Polenta I’ve ever had. Also, I’ll definitely be ordering the Crèmeschnitte and the homemade ice tea again next time!|Thanks for a fantastic day - we’ll be back for sure!
