Hotel Zarera : Sfazù CH, Berninapass, 7742 Poschiavo

Even though we had a late evening check in, the host was kind and came to great us outside, showed us the parking spot and prepared drinks in the bar/restaurant. We felt welcome. We also chat with the host during the breakfast/dinner time or on the nice sun terrace in the afternoon before our departure. Very nice traditional hotel, convenient location right next to the road Pontresina - Tirano. It is perfect either way you come by car or on the bus, the bus stop is just 50m above the hotel. Perfect place either to stop and sleep or eat when passing by or as we did for hiking in the mountains, such as Val da Camp. It is perhaps not the top modern one, but it is very cosy and the view from our room, from the chair on the balcony and from the restaurant was priceless! The room and the bathroom had all you could need and both were very clean. Breakfast was served directly at the table, and even though it was very rich on variety the staff was very attentive and regularly asked if we would like anything else. Also the dinner options were nice and tasty. We stayed by the end of July 2024 and we will definitely come back again.

We were hungry and were just driving by, when we saw this beautiful hotel and restaurant. Mamma Mia! It was the best and the most delicious Italian food we had in Switzerland along with such gorgeous views. Great Hospitality. Loved talking to the owner. Will be back soon and will stay at this beautiful property next time.

Great hotel in Sfazu. Renzo is an amazing and kind host. Perfect for hikes or remote home office. In winter, kids can ski right in front of the hotel on a lovely little hill.
