Café Cavazzolas : Cavazzolas, 7146 Vattiz

We tried out the new winter hiking trail towards Piz Sezner and were really excited! The path is well prepared and leads through beautiful landscapes. A highlight was stopping at Café Cavazzolas – simply wonderful! The homemade Bündner soup was delicious and the homemade cakes looked fantastic. The café isn't always open, but it's worth checking the website beforehand to see when it's open. We will definitely be back – especially because of the delicious cakes! A little tip to the operators: Maybe it would be an idea to be more active on Instagram to attract even more guests. Or it just remains an insider tip – who knows 😉

Family-run café, an absolute insider tip. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts make this stop a special experience. The homemade Capuns and nut cake are highly recommended. The view of the surrounding mountains also adds a wonderful atmosphere. A place we will definitely return to. Thank you for the wonderful moment of enjoyment during a beautiful winter hike. Cafe Cavazzolas is a sanctuary in Lugnez with a wonderful terrace. Landlady Lea bakes the best nut cake in Switzerland in her simple kitchen in the rustic alpine pasture. A must for anyone taking the valley run from Pis Sezner to Vella.
