The food, the vibe, the lake view, the staff and their courteous and welcoming attitudes is a must experience when in Montreux. I was in the area for 2 weeks and I ate here 3 times. Fresh fish from lake leman, cooked to perfection. I ate outdoors but the inside atmosphere is lovely as well. I’ll be back again this summer and I look forward to having both lunch and dinner here again! J’adore le restaurant Le Contretemps!!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at *Le Contretemps*! I had the ribeye, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and juicy, just as I like it. My dad ordered the fish steak with fries, and he couldn't stop raving about how fresh and delicious it was. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the entire meal was well-presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a beautiful lake view. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our evening was enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Montreux!
