Trial operation at Easter by new owners. Service was great and warm. Café, beer and chocolate cake with cream was great. Unfortunately, the price for chocolate cake and cream at 12 francs is far too expensive.

To drive up by car or motorcycle, you need a permit from the municipality, which also costs money. The trip is not for the faint of heart. There's only room for one car, and you have to be prepared to reverse at times. Even with a motorcycle, it's tricky in some places. Really only recommended for experienced motorcyclists. But it's worth it. Once you get to the top, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant is self-service, and I think they only have seating on the terrace.

We were there today on a hiking trip between Ringelspitzhütte und Calandahütte. The waiter was rude, did not have a menue for drinks (no prices) and wanted to provide change in EUR instead of CHF (unacceptable in CH in my view). We had a Cola that was really good for 3 EUR and left.
