Restaurant Dalet : Chantun Sura 21a, 7545 Guarda

I enjoyed a tasty lunch here on a sunny Sunday. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. The staff is super friendly. And I loved the strawberry crumble dessert. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely go back.

Ate here on the 9th & 11th of August 2024. Very friendly and efficient staff. Food very good. Great location with view from the terrace. I’ll definitely be back!

I asked the waiter if they had any vegan dishes on the menu. The answer was very impolite. He said, that they are not accommodating vegans or vegetarians, they have a menu and that’s it. I felt extremely unwelcome. Especially after I realised that they have several vegetarian dishes on the menu which can be easily adjusted to vegan needs. Which the chef did after a discussion with the waiter. So I don’t want to blame the chef, he did a great job and the food was excellent. But the waiter was rude and never apologised. Instead he started to argue with me that I behaved badly by insisting to ask the chef what could be done. You never accuse a customer nor argue with him... He made one feel unwelcome. Pity, all could have been a pleasant experience since there were vegan options and the location is terrific. Which proves again - a good service is so important for the reputation of a restaurant. I am working as a photo journalist and wanted to add the restaurant on a list for recommended restaurants in Grigione. Unfortunately I couldn’t because of that unpleasant experience.
