Ristorante Pensione Lagrev : Isola 11, 7516 Maloja

Since 15 years we’ve been coming to the Lagrev Ristorante on the beautiful Isola. They offer simple but delicious dishes made with love and also have very tasty cakes we love to enjoy. The location is one of a kind and unbelievably beautiful.

Authentic restaurant serving Italian and Engadine specialties, such as homemade chestnut tagliatelle or gnocchi, polenta with Bergell sausage or venison ragout from local hunting, salad from the garden with goat's cheese from Isola and Bregaglia. The restaurant is located in Isola, a small village, very picturesque, with its roof made of local slate or granite. It is next to the gorgeous Sils lake. Note that it is not reachable by car directly, walk or biking required. Anecdote: a handwritten letter of thanks from Max Frisch, a renowned Swiss playwright and novelist, hangs on the wall in the restaurant.

Very good restaurant. Has dessert here and it was so good. The view is gorgeous as well.
