Osteria Paradiso : Via Valle Verzasca 22, 6632 Vogorno

After a long hike under the sun, we came across this grotto on our way back – and decided to stop for a spontaneous lunch, without any expectations. It turned out to be a lovely surprise. The restaurant is well maintained, with a small but tasty selection of authentic dishes. The setting is simple and charming. If you are okay with sharing a table with others, and not expecting top tier service but rather friendly staff (bodenständig, as the Germans say), then this place delivers a genuinely nice experience. I would definitely return on my next trip.

One word: Fantastico! after a little warm up in the beginning due to a misunderstanding, we had a grate time having a late lunch and cake / coffee. We arrived after serving hours for lunch time, so the menu is very limited, but what we were served was beautiful in taste and quality. Salad dressing delicious, you want to dip in your bread to not have anything go to waste. Lovely cold cut and cheese platter with a few pickled goodies. The apricot tart, so so good. We enjoyed everything about the place, the decor, authenticity and chatting with our host. PS: There is parking right at the restaurant, which is very convenient.

Wow what am amazing spot, super authentic, food made with love (definitely try thd gnocchis) and great service. Agree with all positive comments, a place to relax and to enjoy the beautiful nature.
