Berghaus Alpenrösli : Talstrasse 135, 7250 Klosters-Serneus

Berghaus Alpenrösli is a charming alpine lodge perched at 1450 meters above sea level in the peaceful Monbiel area of Klosters. Surrounded by forest trails and overlooking the Prättigau valley, this seasonal mountain retreat is beloved for its warm hospitality, traditional Swiss atmosphere, and stunning panoramic views. It’s the perfect hideaway for nature lovers, hikers, and couples looking to disconnect from the world and immerse themselves in authentic alpine serenity.

In our approximately 10 years of skiing and biking with the boys around Klosters and Davos, it became tradition to hike up to Alpenrösli the last day and either walk or sled down to our chalet. It was always the highlight of the week except I broke my ankle on the last time on the sled. Btw, Davos has a wonderful hospital with doctors that are very experienced in bone fractures and a company right next to them that produces Orthopedic plates and screws. That being said, I highly recommend both places ;)

On a busy sunny Christmas Day the staff was very efficient, friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the location is exceptional. Beware though, that cars are not allowed (for non residents of the hotel), and restaurant guests have to climb a long path(1.1km) at 1.400m altitude to reach the location. Worth the visit!
