Euro contemporary within a shell of historic building enveloping around you. Service is prompt and exact with a local varied menu that has something for everyone to select from.

We had lunch on the terrace of this pleasant Italian leaning restaurant along the river Aare a Saturday mid April 2024. Food was OK, service impeccable and the list of Italian wines long and well garnished. There were not many Swiss choices and the wine by the glass good but expensive. As usual we remove one star when a restaurant charges you for tap water even when you have ordered wine, so typical of restaurant in the German speaking part of Switzerland. The view over the old bridge and the river is beautiful and you may even see a brown kite circle the sky above your head.
