We recently visited a charming small Swiss alpine hut at the midpoint of our motorcycle ride with friends. The hut is perched in a stunning location with breathtaking views that make the journey well worth it up the hillside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing our short visit with warm hospitality. The food was perfect. We highly recommended!

Very friendly staff, breathtaking view, simple local good mountain food, we had the delicious gerstensuppe and Valcaus Plättli cheese and dried meat platter. The local specialty Nusstorte was tasty and their pies were homemade. We learned you can also call ahead and order a fondue. Our kids enjoyed playing with cows who visited during the meal on the other side of the fence.
