We really loved the menu and experience in restaurant Fahr. It is quiet, subtle, and the dishes are an artful explosion of flavor. My personal favorites were the starters, the pickles with fennel ice cream and martini gel, and the fish with asparagus and wild dill. Art on a plate!

This is easily the best restaurant in Canton Aargau, among the top restaurants in Switzerland. Their 6-course menues are worth a trip! The food is creative, well-designed and served with such an attention to the smallest details that there's little room for improvement to 3 stars. The service is great and actually interacts with guests in a heartfelt fashion. They have a large, well structured wine list, the dining room is great, but if you have the option, try to have lunch on the terrace .
