Fine dining in a rustic atmosphere. The Gasthof Bären is well known for outstanding food and great service. Their specialty is grilled chicken in butter sauce . Each of our dishes was delicious. Friendly and professional service.

Always a pleasure to dine in here! The service is great, the hosts are kind and one of the owner is a hunter himself. So coming here for game in fall is a must, otherwise the „Mistchratzerli“ is my favorite.

The Mini Chicken Diavolo was delicious – tender and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, the portion was very small, somewhere between a mini schnitzel and a roadkill. The salad seemed rather symbolic – small, but surprisingly expensive. Apparently, you pay by the leaf here. The service staff was friendly, attentive, and present. And then came the show part: flambéing! Not once, not twice, but what felt like ten times. Each time, a small fire show, followed by a large cloud of smoke that reliably spread throughout the entire room. The guests coughed their way through the evening in solidarity. All in all: a culinary experience with a pyrotechnic display. Seen once, experienced once – and that's enough.
