My favorite restaurant in Mellingen! Clearly a “must-see” or “must-eat” in Mellingen. ;) The range of dishes includes good home-style Swiss and Asian cuisine. All dishes are always prepared fresh and with a lot of love and you can taste it. Whether it's the breaded pork chop, a Thai curry, a cordon bleu or the chicken fondue - everyone gets their culinary satisfaction here. Since all dishes are always freshly prepared, vegetarians and vegans are not neglected either. Just ask the staff. Every week there is a great selection of new, varied and delicious lunch menus including soup and salad. The drinks menu with fine drinks is also impressive and invites you to take a quick stop. The service is outstanding! Musa is a born host and Susi is a sensational cook. They complement each other perfectly - a really great team. Both have many years of experience in the catering industry and understand their craft. They impress with their very likeable, friendly, warm, attentive and courteous nature. The ambience and atmosphere are also great! You just feel completely comfortable and the furnishings are very stylish. The whole thing is rounded off with seasonally appropriate decorations. The many wooden accents make the rooms homey and very comfortable. Nevertheless, the restaurant and bar are very modern. A little tip: You can see old photos of Mellingen in the restaurant on the first floor - very exciting. The newly built terrace in the main street invites you to linger when the weather is nice and is an enrichment for the local gastronomy and the entire community. There are also some seats on the side of the large church alley. Attractive events also take place all the time. For example, from October 1st, a juicy spit roast with side dishes will be offered on the first Saturday of the month from 6:00 p.m. On November 16th and 17th, there will also be a kind of warm-up to the pre-Christmas season throughout the entire old town in Mellingen. Various shops and restaurants are then open. The Scharf Eck team offers a delicious cheese fondue there. We are looking forward to it! :) Overall, the Scharf Eck is a highly recommended restaurant that impresses with its delicious food, excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. It is definitely worth a visit and we are grateful to have such a beautiful restaurant in Mellingen!

My meal was excellent: the fries were nice and crispy and didn't taste like old frying oil, and the steak was juicy. The service was extremely attentive and with the bill order there was a free homemade mocha dessert to try.

At Scharf Eck, we received a warm welcome, and the service was consistently attentive. The green and red curries were perfectly seasoned and appropriately spicy. The appetizer plate was beautifully presented and a delight for the senses. It almost felt like a vacation in Thailand. We look forward to our next visit!
