Restaurant Zum Güggel : Othmarsingerstrasse 16, 5605 Dottikon

There were six of us plus a small child. We called 10 minutes before we arrived and reserved tables. The owner was very friendly even on the phone, saying he'd wait a few minutes after that and we were welcome to come in. After 5 minutes, however, we were already there. We received a very warm welcome and our seats were lovingly presented. We all enjoyed the dishes! The prices are perfectly reasonable! Everything was freshly prepared; I think they even included chicken nuggets! What I really liked was definitely the hospitality! Unfortunately, that's not a given everywhere anymore! We all felt very comfortable and at home! The highlight was that there were even toys (even if it was a small corner), which is unfortunately rare in Swiss restaurants! A few things aren't enough anymore; very exemplary, I must say! When ordering, they made sure that the youngest guest got their meal first, and they even gave the littlest guest a little surprise, which was very sweet! The greeting from the kitchen was also very nice. She asked us all beforehand if anyone didn't like pork or didn't eat it. I was the only one who didn't eat pork, so I was offered an alternative. Simply AMAZING! THANKS again for everything. We'll definitely be back, just for the attentive service, the hospitality, and simply because of the loving host.❤️
