Ufer 30 : Unterdorfstrasse 30, 4323 Wallbach

Our stay with Daniela and Markus was simply wonderful. They are charming hosts, always attentive and eager to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Their house, ideally located on the banks of the Rhine, radiates a very joyful, positive energy and offers a magnificent view. We loved watching the Rhine flow by, fascinated by the other bank, which looked like the Amazon. Daniela introduced us to a board game, adding a convivial touch to our stay. The meals eaten there are delicious, lovingly prepared, and mostly homemade. The walk along the banks of the Rhine leads you to a magnificent 450-year-old wooden bridge that connects Stein, Switzerland, to Bad Säckingen, Germany. This historic bridge is the longest covered wooden bridge in Europe. For those who enjoy swimming, it is possible to swim and cool off in the Rhine. Satisfied to have discovered this peaceful place, we will most likely return, and as soon as possible! Christelle & Eric

A spontaneous breakfast at Ufer 30 with a delicious breakfast plate: it's great what variety Daniela served us on this "plate": fruit bread (homemade by Christian! 😋), Aronja mustard with the cheese, muesli and much more. Plus a secluded garden with a view of the Rhine - that's a holiday atmosphere!

As always; delicious food right on the Rhine in a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Plates, tiramisu (with fresh coffee) and waffles were all delicious 😋
