Visiting from the U.S. I went for lunch here with my mother. There was one very friendly and cheerful waitress, and another one, who looked and behaved like she'd rather be somewhere else, a bit impatient, and a bit snappy... that's the one who served us. We looked into a menu that seemed to be more for dinner, than for lunch guests. However, we ordered the 'daily menu' of what's generally called 'Schnitzel/Pommes Frites' in Switzerland. The meat was excellent and cooked to the point, so were the fries, even the veggies were excellently prepared. Unfortunately, vegetables and fries were a bit bland. However, when the chef came to ask if it was all right, he took my judgement of the undersalted sides with a smile, and agreed. He's friendly and polite, with a good sense of humor, and I enjoyed and appreciated the quick chat. Why didn't I give more than 3 stars? Because of the grumpy waitress for one... and because it's not easy to walk a handicapped older lady 20 or so steps down and back up to the restrooms. .
