35 CHF per person for brunch is steep for half empty brunch. I had to tell the staff to refill juices, cheese, fruits, jam, butter, muesli and bread n croissants plus the warm eggs, sausages etc. practically everything was empty at 10.45. It was embarrassing after 2 times. So we ate what was there. One staff lady told me that it’s difficult to refill! Like seriously?! Buffet timings are till 1 pm. But I must say the interiors are fabulous. It seems like an old farmhouse which has been nicely remodeled.

Chic! The Place in Hölstein

The sandwiches used to be the best in the entire valley; bulging and well-chosen. Unfortunately, they've now slipped to discount store level... Mediocre fillings, hard-boiled eggs, ingredients from a can... I think that's a real shame. At least the bread is good. I'd be happy if they improved. The chocolate croissants are still absolutely amazing, though!
