very nice trip in the nature above the Lago Maggiore. You can walk up to the mountain or take the funicular. To get to the Capanna dello Stallone you need to walk around 30-45 minutes from Cardada. There is a restaurant with simple menu with Ticino specialities, such as polenta with or without gorgonzola, or with beef , various salads, mixed cold cuts, cheese's plate and wines and desserts. Bathrooms available.
