We often visit Marlis and Erich for dinner. Everything is fine. Marlis' food is very good, Erich's service leaves nothing to be desired and the atmosphere is very cozy and homely. You immediately feel at home. All in all, we always like to come back.

Unfortunately very, very unfriendly. I forgot my wallet and said I had to get it in the car. She then complained about me in front of other guests and in my presence. Unfortunately, the lady doesn't even know the basics of entertaining guests. Never again.

I completely understand if someone has a bad day, but what we experienced here doesn't seem to be an isolated case, hence this review: We, a larger group, wanted to meet there after a hike. A few of us have already been there and the service was anything but friendly . We newly arrived were turned away on the grounds that it was full, even though numerous guests were leaving. I was given the toilet key rather reluctantly. The innkeeper's wife then asked us for money to go to the toilet because we hadn't consumed anything . After the experience we will give this house a wide berth. We were able to spend the evening in Biel at St. Gervais and Ama, where friendliness is not a foreign word.
