Recommended on Reddit for good cheese fondue—in the Zurich outskirts on the hill, it has a good view of Zurich, and has a nice countryside vibe. They let me have fondue for one, but note that you have to pay an extra 12 CHF. Note for people who haven’t tried fondue—it’s surprisingly stinky and bitter, not like “fake cheese”! It was an interesting experience though. The inside has a window where you can watch a rabbit pen, which is cute.

This is a lovely place. It's location on top of a local hill gives an amazing overview over Dübendorf a few meters away from the hut. When you enter the hut though, the pure magic unfolds. The nicest cheese smell and lovely wooden interior makes for a perfect atmosphere to dine in a rustic environment. They even have some rabbits visible through glass windows while you eat. The waiters are exceptionally friendly and always have an eye on your needs. For the food: only ever had cheese fondue 🫕 there as it will be a bliss for your taste buds. I can clearly recommend this restaurant if you are a cheese 🧀 lover like me.
