The castle is much larger and more complex than it looks from the outside — a true labyrinth of rooms, towers, and hidden corners. Its rich history, from medieval fortifications to prison cells and ducal residences, is brought to life through well-placed information panels and optional audio guides. We especially appreciated the mix of original architecture and carefully restored sections. Fab, can easily spend a couple of hours exploring the castle, and a really interesting history, from dungeons to towers. And then you can go across the road to explore the fortress built into the hillside. Its a great day out
