Small but very nice card. We ate veal slices with apple mustard sauce and spaetzli and stuffed apple with cream leek and Schupfnudeln - wonderful! Very friendly service from the owner and a chef who practices his craft with passion. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent regional food, a good wine selection, fine beer, and friendly service, all served in a beautiful, cozy garden or indoors in a warm atmosphere at solid wooden tables. Every Joel menu is a delight! And definitely not your average restaurant. Hats off to what you've conjured up!

There were four of us at Esswerk6 and we were absolutely thrilled! When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the chef personally, friendly and with open arms. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the chef knows his craft because the food was fantastic, beautifully decorated plates, with flowers from their own garden, which is simply awesome, because you can indulge yourself on different levels, the variety of flowers, Herbs, bushes and fruit trees are stunningly beautiful. As a chef myself, I can recommend Esswerk6 to anyone who wants something different than a restaurant or simply a terrace.
