This is how you experience small town Switzerland. This is literally a mom and pop place where dad is cooking and mom is the waitress. The food was AMAZING. I got the chicken schnitzel and my son got the pork. I’m never eating schnitzel back in the states ever again because this is just so completely at a different level. The local house red wine and lager are excellent. As a caution, absolutely no English is spoken in here. We had a very nice guest from another table translate for us, but come in prepared with some basic Swiss German restaurant vocabulary.
