Extremely glad to decide to walk 1 hour uphill for lunch after seeing the reviews. And we can say the reviews are so right! We had cajuns and spaetzle, as well as their famed waffles with homemade ice cream. We ended the meal with a good shot of espresso and the meal came to just under 100 francs even with 3 draft beers. Every single dish was exquisite in a non pretentious manner, enjoyed ourselves very much dining outdoors with some splendid views of mountains. Afterwards we took the grassy hiking path down the alpine mountain enjoying all the flowers and smell of the lovely grassland. You should go try it. Heavenly experience.

We initially sought this place out to escape the aspirational dining offered at the Therme - The high ratings are definitely more than deserved - food is delicious - definitely worth the hour walk up from Val's to work up a proper hunger. The Käsespätli with onions and apple sauce are bonkers good - excellent! The service is friendly and welcoming. Whether toasting in the setting sun with a drink to take in the great view, getting down to the business of eating delicious food from a varied local menu or indulging in one of the many desserts, I'm sure it won't disappoint. I can heartily recommend.
