I went for dinner with friends tonight. As always, it was excellent and the service was very friendly. I'm already looking forward to the next time...😋😋👍🏻

Once again we were looking for a restaurant on a Sunday that was open all day and that's how we came across the Gelsgarten restaurant. The long journey from Lake Zurich was definitely worth it: the service was very friendly when we made the reservation and when we arrived we were even able to choose a table on the terrace. We were both very pleased and surprised by the really detailed and generously laid out menu. There is something for every appetite and price category. My soup was really sensational and our salads weren't from the fridge but were at room temperature and the dressing was absolutely outstanding. The main courses were beautifully presented and more than generously portioned. We were more impressed by the starters than the main course but there was still nothing major to complain about. The main courses arrive extremely hot and are well seasoned. However, this is definitely not as perfect as the soup and salad before it. What was also very important to us is that it is very clean and there is more than enough parking up front. Access is a bit difficult, but with nice weather and an open car, you can easily disguise it and enjoy it. In any case, we'd happily recommend the restaurant because we really enjoyed it today, Sunday.
