While staying in Lucerne during our trip to Switzerland, I found it while searching for a hotel with parking. Free parking is a great option in Switzerland. We booked a room with breakfast through Booking.com at a good price. Pros: The room was clean, as if the toilets and bathrooms had never been used. Family-run businesses are always clean. We booked with breakfast, and the gentleman was so attentive that we felt like we'd gone to a very expensive restaurant. When he asked if we wanted pork, we explained that we were Muslim, and he was sensitive to that. The breakfast was very good, and the bread and croissants were warm. Cons: The room was incredibly cold when we first arrived , and the heating was off. We turned it on, but it didn't even warm up. They leave your key in a box when you enter, and they share the code beforehand. This was nice, but it was difficult to find someone to talk to. We managed it ourselves.
