I have never been so happy to have missed a train, as it led me to discover this gem of an ice cream place. The ice cream here is simply incredible, and I’m already planning my next hike in Appenzell just for another visit.

A great option for the village. Right next to the train station and 2 minutes from the Reka holiday village. The morning specials include fresh croissants and delicious coffee, and for those who are a bit more hungry, there are fresh sandwiches. The sweet temptation consists of 14 different flavors of ice cream, all of which are very creamy and delicious . The staff is very friendly and even offers ice cream to sample. I wish the newly opened ice cream parlor a great start, and I'll be back!
