Grotto Figini is an absolute gem! We chose it for the celebration of our anniversary and had an amazing dinner there. The place is on the outskirts of a beautiful forest. We enjoyed the game meats! The staff was hospitable and spoke very good English as well. :) Highly recommended!

Cute area of Lugano, with some original grotto-style restaurants . Had some fresh pasta with a creamy topping, and wife had some even tastier pasta with pesto But among our party of eight, four people had the beef ribs - 'costine' - which were made in an open fire grill. My aunt let me try a piece - man, I should have ordered them, they were amazing!

If you are in Lugano, this is a MUST!! The waiter explained us the whole menu as we did not understand Italian and gave us great recommendations. I have visited over 120 European restaurants in the last year, never have I had a better Antipasti before 👌🏻 Thank you for an attentive service, amazing food and a super local ambience! We will come back!
