Hotel Sonne, Zürichstrasse 2, 3360 Herzogenbuchsee

Highly recommend you visit Herzogenbuchsee. Friendly staff, good hotel and a restaurant visited by many locals & regular visitors. My family has been eating here for 60+ years. My father worked here as a cook in the 1969s. I spent a month working in the kitchen, August 1985. We recently had a lunch service there after the burial of my Aunt. This place hasn’t changed other than new support structures around the old building.

Pizzeria and Italian food in a beautiful, time-honored house. The service is friendly, attentive and quick. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian dishes is not very large. Not to mention vegan . There is no vegan pizza, although there are 34 different pizzas to choose from. However, the vast majority of them contain dead animals. Plus they all come with cheese too. The pizzas are otherwise fine: the dough is thin and crispy. And you can get one of the best non-alcoholic beers, namely the Eichhof from Lucerne 🍻 👍

Highly recommended Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was very good, the service was attentive and friendly.
