King's Cave, Central 1, 8001 Zürich

When we didn’t have reservations elsewhere and didn’t want to walk, we decided to eat here as it was located in our hotel. The restaurant accommodated us very last minute, and even gave us a great table for our honeymoon. The food was surprisingly very good for ordering two steaks. The French fries were very good as well. The service was great, very attentive and continuously checked on us - which we had not received before in Switzerland while eating. The only negative was the cocktail menu was more limited, but plenty of wines to choose from. Overall, great meal and we were very happy we chose it!

Had a great dinner at King's Cave in Zürich. It’s an underground restaurant styled like a royal living room—cozy, a bit old-school, and really atmospheric. We went as a couple and brought our dog; they reserved a table with space for him near the mock fireplace, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent—our waiter was super friendly and even advised us on which appetizers might clash with our mains. We both had steaks with béarnaise and herb butter, and the meat was spot on. Finished with Toblerone mousse, which was light and not too sweet—perfect ending. Overall, great food, chill vibe, and thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Our waiter, Jovo, was incredibly attentive and pleasant. I will definitely come back! The Royal Combination de luxe was absolutely perfect – the steak was cooked to perfection, the potatoes were excellent, and the sauce… everything was just amazing!
