LA PERLA BELLUNO, Thurbruggstrasse 1, 9220 Schönenberg an der Thur

Loved the location! Seriously there are not many restaurants in the region which have such a beautiful spot, right next to the Thur river. Food was good but I'm unfortunately disappointed by the service. Although friendly, the orders seem to be forgotten. On 15 active tables, the waiter had to go look who had ordered these two types of pizzas. I also had to remind the waiter twice to have a glass of wine with the food. I finally got it after 15 min when I almost finished my food already. So that's really the only but big negative point. Bummer, they could easily get 5 stars with a better service!

Finally an Italian place which can actually make a real pizza. The pizza dough was perfectly made for my own liking, not soggy in the middle, just perfect to enjoy your pizza slice by hand. The place could definitely use a bit more personality, but the location itself is really good for a quite enjoyable meal. Again, 10 out of 10 for the Quatro stagioni pizza that I've enjoyed.

Perfect location, right on the Thur River, lovely ambiance. Friendly service, authentic Italian cuisine with potential for improvement. Perhaps we'll try it again.
