Magical place and great food. Special people. The food was great, the owner and staff were very nice and helpful. We were very happy here and drank a great 2021 vintage petite arvine wine. We asked the owner if he could arrange wines for us to take home for our family and friends. The owner agreed and provided the wines for us. However, upon arriving home, we discovered that the boxes contained wines of older vintages that did not taste or smell good. We were left very disappointed as we had spent a lot of money here and good times with the owner.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The owners are incredibly kind, the food is delicious, and the rustic countryside atmosphere is wonderful. The restaurant's owner has a fantastic sense of humor. Highly recommended!

a jewel for foreign visitors, too. cosy guest room for rainy days, open space for sunny days, cowshed next to it.... all under the same roof - you won't find a more typical place to have a drink or eat few - obviously - typically bernese farmer plates. . you might be surprised how many bernese farmers have family somewhere near chicago, farmers as well. till 80 years ago switzerland was a poor country, with many emigrants....
