Wow. Great find. We had two versions of the cordon blue fitness teller with different types of cheese and ham. Delicious. Very friendly service. The chef came out to check on the food.

The Ochsen impresses with a hidden terrace that offers a stunning panorama of the local mountain range. Very nice service and the chef also welcomed us. The cordon bleu was quite large, delicious and crispy. I recommend the Spätzli . The beer is good too. 10/10

The Ochsen restaurant is apparently known for its Cordon Bleu specialties, so as a Cordon Bleu lover, of course I had to try this out. For me personally, the cordon bleu stuffed with gruyere cheese is the ideal choice for a cordon bleu in terms of cheese. The cordon bleu was wonderfully crispy and the filling was perfectly balanced. Particularly notable were the various mixed salads, each served with a different sauce. The service was particularly quick and extremely friendly, and I can say the same about the chef. I look forward to visiting the Ochsen again on my next stay in the Walenstadt region.
