The food was unbelievably disappointing. I basically had a chicken nugget on dry spaghetti, obviously called something fancy to entice me. It was something I would have concocted in high school.

We were looking forward to discovering L’Orangerie, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations, especially for an establishment of this caliber. The Chateaubriand was poorly cooked twice: we ordered it rare, but it was served medium rare both times. The Béarnaise sauce, although the sabayon was well-executed, lacked authenticity—chives replaced chervil and tarragon, essential ingredients for a true Béarnaise sauce. Another disappointment: the risotto, prepared with rice resembling basmati rice, which is completely unsuitable for this iconic Italian dish. Finally, the wait was excessively long, to the point of ruining our appetite. That said, we commend the professionalism of the waiters, who were very attentive throughout the meal. A special mention goes to the vitello tonnato served as an amuse-bouche, which was perfectly prepared. A mixed evening, then, with some real positive points, but some serious mistakes in the kitchen that one wouldn't expect in such a setting.
