Osteria Grotto Croce, Via Monte Generoso 13, 6874 Castel San Pietro

I went to this restaurant for a big lunch after a meeting. Therefore an agreed menu to avoid making the service and preparation of the courses as simple and quick as possible. I was very happy with the service, the hospitality of the staff, the speed, courtesy and skills. The food was of excellent quality and the dishes very rich and plentiful. The desserts are also homemade. So no industrial sweets. Congratulations I will definitely be back...a peculiarity inside the restaurant, Lego lovers find a fantastic world...congratulations

I don't write many reviews, but in this case the owners/managers deserve it. The outside space is very nice in the summer with only a few tables, good distance to each other's, quite. The food was a very good surprise, the price / quality ratio is unbeatable, and the service very friendly! One minor critique is that the risotto was slightly overcooked, but that can happen when it's a busy evening...it's a tricky one! Otherwise excellent and homemade quality, can only recommend it!

I knew the owners/chefs when they owned Osteria Donada in Montagnola a couple years ago. The food was and still is phenomenal, fair prices, and beautiful ambiance! On top of this is the wonderful energy and warm feeling of welcome and friendship from Sebastiano, Claudio and Luisa. I really wish they still owned the restaurant closer to my home so I could go more often. They are now 30 min driving distance for me but the drive is worth it and I surely will go back!
