My husband and I were so excited to eat at Pinte Besson considering how historical this establishment is! We made reservations just to be safe. The service was wonderful! The fondue was delicious . Would highly recommend a meal here during your stay in Lausanne!

We ordered the fondue and, in our opinion, it was terrible. First of all, for €55 for two people, we were served bread and a plate of cheese. And nothing else. No cold cuts, no potatoes, nothing. Just bread and cheese. Maybe that's normal for Switzerland, but we were expecting more. Secondly, the fondue was extremely bitter — we guess too much wine was used. We left half of it uneaten because we simply didn’t enjoy it. The place itself is nice, and the staff is friendly. But the fondue is a 1/10. I can't recommend it.

One of the historical cafe of Lausanne with old fashioned but well maintained interior. It was interesting to climb to the second floor on the very narrow stairs :) We had the menu fondue tradition for 2, it's a complete set with dried meat platter and fondue moitié moitié with bread. The portion was not too big but it was enough when closed with the dessert included in the menu . It's a nice restaurant to eat typical Swiss food .
