Restaurant Belpmoos, Aemmenmattstrasse 43, 3123 Belp

As regular visitors, we can definitely say that the service is always fantastic and the garden terasse is one of the best in the region. The owner makes sure that the guests leave satisfied after each visit. Keep up the great work!

I am a Taiwanese who lived in Belp for a short trip. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel and it was delicious. The other dish was rice with shrimps, which was also super delicious. The seasoning was very fragrant. The clerk was very friendly with a smile. The price is a bit cheaper compared to the capital Bern. You can drink tap water for free when ordering drinks. Overall, it is a delicious restaurant.

The restaurant has a beautiful location with ample parking. The interior is a bit different. The place lacks ambiance and its only attraction is the view of the mountains. The food is okay, but considering the price, it's rather adequate compared to other restaurants. The schnitzel was too thin for my taste, and the breading was too crumbly. When it arrived at the table, it was only lukewarm. The dessert, a lava cake with ice cream, was simply a warmed-up convenience product. My companion's cake was still cold from the refrigerator. Since service was sporadic, the only option was to go straight to the counter. There, the cake was heated within a minute and brought to the table without a word or eye contact. The ice cream had already melted considerably by this time. No new dish arrived, and no apology. In my opinion, this behavior is completely unservice-oriented, and I have never experienced anything like it before. We definitely won't be back and definitely recommend better service!
