The food was good. Normal prize for CH. The service was nice but VERY slow. They made us pay for a glass of tap water which I think is really greedy.

We had dinner in the hermitage with 3 people. I have to confirm what has often been criticized. It wasn't too clean. Cobwebs on the windows, dust on various objects, the carpet really black with dirt. The dim light that was on everywhere was probably supposed to hide that. It reminds me of another establishment. We made fun of it. We stayed anyway. We all ordered the same skewer, and it was good too. A salad would have rounded off the dish. However, my 88-year-old mother went to the toilet. Due to the poor lighting conditions, she missed a step in the restaurant. She fell hard. We rushed straight to her and I could already see the blood. I called for help and asked for a first aid kit, no response. I then called out somewhat vehemently for help. The waitress came. I said I needed a first aid kit. Then a man in a white coat came and said we don't have a first aid kit. So we had to treat the wounds with the temporary tissues we had brought with us. My mother has a blue nose and eyes, a small cut above her lip, and bruises on her forehead and shoulder. I then asked the waitress if she could at least bring me some ice cream. Then she did that too. We asked why the lights weren't on in the restaurant. My friend, who had accompanied me, told the innkeeper directly that the accident had happened due to the lighting conditions, because the step was simply not visible. Then he got a little angry and the light was turned on. The waitress asked several times if there was anything else she could do. We saw or heard nothing more from this “host”. All I can say is that it was the lowest level. If he had had any decency, he would have at least apologized and at least asked if we should call a doctor, or I would have only charged part of the meal or offered dessert. If we had been in Germany, we would have proceeded differently so that something like this couldn't happen again. Since I don't know the Swiss legal system, we left it at that. We were the only guests until we left. And even if the skewer was good, everything else was subpar.

Visit with the vintage car club with 18 people: The idea was that we would stretch our legs and enjoy coffee ☕️ and croissants at the first stop.
