Restaurant Erlenholz, Erlenholz, 9300 Wittenbach

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the region of St. Gallen. It's kind of tricky to find it but once you're there, you have a beautiful view on trees and greenery. It's outside of towns, there's no noise, perfect to enjoy the food and view. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming, immediately helping. The owner is a charming guy always joking. The food was pretty good, although I missed a non-pork alternative for the Cordon Bleu. The terrace is pretty nice BUT the red plastic chairs just come off as cheap standard mountain restaurant furniture. Replace these chairs with something more design/lounge style and you've got the perfect restaurant terrace on a sunny day!

We were completely thrilled and can fully recommend this restaurant!
