Lovely restaurant, beautiful view from terrace. Cuisine is traditional but fresh and well served!

Four of us recently ate at the Golfpark, our first visit under new management. The ambiance, view, and location are wonderful, and the food served leaves plenty of room for improvement. The mixed salad looked like it had come straight from a garden shredder, absolutely carelessly prepared. The garlic bread we ordered was simply forgotten, and the rösti with the Zurich schnitzel was a piece of butter, simply inedible. The service's explanation: it was the potatoes' fault; they couldn't get any suitable potatoes for rösti at the moment... Other guests had also complained; why then do they offer it? The rest of the food was okay, but okay is too little in this price range. To be fair, we complained, and both the missing garlic bread and the rösti were promptly removed from the bill. The staff; Very helpful and friendly, although the very long wait times were possibly due to the crowd, they were still not very pleasant. All in all, the price/performance ratio didn't meet expectations; a shame!

Restaurant has a new operator. Standard fell drastically on the basis of the ambiance. The elegant and classy settings from the previous restaurant has been replaced with cheap looking chairs and tables. The tables are lined with cheap strips of cloths that are wrinkled. The beautiful large white plates are now replaced by small ones. All the food are cramped on the small plates. We were 4 people in the group for dinner, and we all felt we were in a canteen. The entire place look like one. We waited forever for the food. Possibly its a new team, so maybe this is the reason and we decided to be patient. The food quality was high though, and prices remain like before. We have been clients of this restaurant for more than 15 years. But we will not be returning to this place for sure.
