We had lunch in this Italian eatery a Saturday during the local skiing holidays of 2025 being the only guests in this dated restaurant which was kind of depressing. There is a big terrace overlooking the old town of Avenches. Wild pike-perch from nearby Lake Murten was on the menu, being cooked to perfection, but accompanied by an unnecessary amount of extras thus hiding the flavor and original taste of this delicate fish. The wine list is rather restricted with a mixture of Swiss and Italian wines on offer. Prices are on the high side.

We’ve been fans since they were in Mex. so it was natural that when they moved we would follow. Beautiful location, ambiance perfect and of course the food is incredible. We will definitely be coming back soon.
