It was brilliant. Gorgeous View. Good Service. But the food was average. The schnitzel was not so good. The soup ok. The garlic bread good. Easy and Fast. And bit expensive. But I guess we pay the place.

In reality both visits I had in the beginning of this season was a disaster; 2nd time was a 2nd attempt as there are not other options. In both cases it was really busy. Problem 1 is that you have to wait in line to order; this took 25 minutes; mostly because there 1 person who is taking up the order and does the payment; 1 by 1. So, getting another round of beers/rivella also takes 25 minutes. Then we had to wait 50 minutes before the food comes out. Again, I realize that it was busy; but it is not like we ordered hard food: soups, fries and hornli+gehacktes: all dishes which should be 'ready' and can be made in bulk. And, it is possible to do this at the mountain; as many other mountain restaurants of this size can do it as well. The prices are slightly above average compared to similar dishes in other ski/mountain areas within 30 minutes from the Wahensee. So, please take this as feedback; please find a more scalable way to increase ordering speed and deliver food during the days you will be able to make the most money. I am sure that most people don't care that not all their dishes come at the same time; just when they are ready. E.g. make a big batch of fries and hand them out. The people who did help us were very friendly. The place is nice . I am sure that everything runs like a charm when the place is not at capacity.
