As always, an absolute sensation! Our guests and we enjoyed an exceptionally good meal. The staff, especially the landlady and of course the kitchen, once again truly spoiled us. Desserts also offered a wide variety, from homemade chocolate cake to coffee ice cream. Everyone was very satisfied and will gladly return to the Ochsen. Lunch, in my opinion, was also clearly top-notch! Still great!

My review concerns the lunch option. The decor is simple but not shabby, but even for a restaurant of this kind, there's still some room for improvement. This is really the only negative point in my review. But for lunch, the interior isn't really important; it's about getting good, affordable food, and that was a complete success. This Friday's menu included Aargauerbraten , which also included soup, salad, and dessert. Regarding dessert, I don't know if it was because it was a Friday, but that doesn't matter. After the meal, I had to drive to the car. The price/performance ratio was fantastic; I paid just over CHF 23 for the menu with a large drink, which was absolutely justified. The service was friendly, attentive, and easy to understand. All in all, this restaurant is a hit for lunch. I'll be back.
